Hey, I’m Shaqkeal

A Digital Business graduate from the University of Salford, I have a strong foundation in various sectors of the tech industry. During my studies, I delved into emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and wearable tech, gaining valuable insight into the latest trends and advancements in the industry.

My passion for product design was reignited during a Mobile app development module that led me to the field of UX. Thoughout my time in high school I had always enjoyed learning about Product design and quickly noticed the similarities between the two, and my desire to learn more grew. Upon graduation, I wasted no time in signing up to Google UX course. Here, I learned the fundamentals of what makes good UX and honed my skills in Figma while building my portfolio. Seven months later, I have completed the course and gained tremendous confidence in my design work.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have also been running a successful shoe-cleaning business, SolecleanerMcr, for the past two years. Through Instagram and TikTok, I have been sharing tutorials and how-to's on my process of cleaning shoes, gaining a following and traction for my business. This experience has allowed me to develop my marketing and branding skills, and I am confident in my ability to bring this expertise to any innovative tech company.

As a self-driven and dedicated individual, I am always looking to challenge myself and strive for excellence through consistency. I am eager to contribute my creativity and passion for design to a dynamic team and learn from others in the digital space. I am excited for the opportunity to embark on new projects and continue to grow as a designer in a cutting-edge tech company.
